Cedar Grove Church

Bill and Jenny Hawkey began attending Cedar Grove since 1990. They came for the first time at the invitation of friends. After their daughter gave birth at the age of sixteen, their lives changed. At that time, they really needed a church family to encourage and help them. And they did! The entire family accepted Christ and were baptized at the same time. Bill and Jenny both attended an Emmaus walk a few years later and God spoke to them loud and clear. After coming home from their walk they threw themselves wholeheartedly into church and were called as deacons. They feel like they are still learning and growing. 

Jenny shares, "Our Cedar Grove family has been with us through thick and thin. We can't live without them. Christ has put us here and we feel this is where we will always be. There is more to my story and more to come. To me, Christ is Cedar Grove and Cedar Grove is Christ."
